Subject: GIVE SOME RESPECT, PEOPLE!
Subject: GIVE SOME RESPECT, PEOPLE!
Now, come on! If you don't like the show don't watch it. You do you, watch it. You need to consider the differences between the 1950's & 2020! It was a different time & better moral values than we have today.
How many TV shows do you watch currently, where nudity is all in your face? PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING on television today is pure filth, whether full nudity, vulgar language, murder, violence, and the list goes on....
Yes! It is a cheezy slapstick comedy, and she's old enough to be his wife. But, it is a fun, wholesome show that the entire family sat around a 12" warped television screen, and laughed. And, I am so glad there was no canned laugh track used. Because, it would have ruined the entire show.
So, take it for what it is - good clean humor...
...and an insane old crazy lady that should have been doped to the gills with Laudanum and strapped down in a bed somewhere!
And another thing, in the early days of television, scripts were often passed around to other shows. And the script for this one was also used on an episode of "I Love Lucy", with Ethel Mertz playing the old lady's part, when Lucy think's that Ricky is cheating on him, and they go to the club in disguises to spy on him. What? Wait! That was just about every episode of "I Love Lucy", wasn't it?

C'mon people, write your own review without having to indicate another poster's opinion.
I watched this episode and it is a tad silly but very enjoyable, remember people - this was the 1950s and this episode indicates how silly sitcoms could be back in those days.

This is a VERY silly show. But, it is good to watch and better than the nasty stuff on tv today.
I love that there is no phony laugh track.

I tend to disagree with other party. Yes it is rather silly a plot, but it is rather funny to watch. Especially the mayham that Margie's Father goes through. You should have watched the rest of it.

Meh. "My Little Margie" was a fun show, But this episode is poor. I only made it 10 minutes before I gave up at the silliness of the plot-line. Basically, Some Hindu's mistake Margie for being a jewel thief. That may not sound too bad, But no decent reason is giving for them coming to that conclusion. If this was a forgotten 1-season-wonder, I would give this 3/5, But since "My Little Margie" was a long-running well-made TV series, The sheer crap-ness of this episode leaves me giving it 2/5.
